The Village of Groton, incorporated in 1860, is located in the northeast corner of Tompkins County in the Fingerlakes region of New York State.
Originally, the Village was host to many small industries and was later a home to Smith Corona Typewriter Company from 1909 to 1983. Today there still are a few fine smaller concerns and many of our residents who work in Ithaca and Cortland reside in our Village.
The Village provides fire and police protection, electric, water and sewer utilities and has an active recreation department in conjunction with the Town of Groton. We have a Municipal Pool at Memorial Park that is open to the public during the summer.
We also have an active Community Development program that has provided many opportunities to our residents and businesses.
With our New Software you can view your bill and pay by credit card or electronic check!
A small 3rd party fee will be assessed.
**You will need a pin number, that can be found on your bill next to your account number, to pay the bill online by credit card or echeck.
